Tomato 'Amish Paste'

'Amish Paste' tomato has meaty, teardrop-shaped fruits that weigh 6 to 8 ounces and have an excellent flavor - much better than typical paste tomatoes. It is good for both saucing and fresh eating. This is one of the few paste types that ripens in our Zone 5b garden. It is very productive.

This wonderful heirloom tomato comes from the Amish community.

Sowing Tomato Seeds

Start tomato seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/8" deep. Transplant outside 1-2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 30-36".
