Tomato 'Dr. Wyche's Yellow'

'Dr. Wyche's Yellow' tomato has golden-orange fruits with a sweet flavor that is described by some as "tropical." It's not very productive, but the fruits are huge, weighing up to 20 ounces.

This famous heirloom tomato was developed by Dr. John Wyche and introduced by Craig LeHoullier in the 1990s.

Sowing Tomato Seeds

Start tomato seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/8" deep. Transplant outside 1-2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 30-36".
