Tomato 'Earl's Faux'

'Earl's Faux' is one of the most delicious tomatoes we've ever grown. The large, pink beefsteaks weigh 12 to 16 ounces and have a rich, well-balanced flavor. It is a great tomato for the south, but late to ripen in our northern climate, and it loses some of its flavor in cool autumn weather. The plants have potato-leaf foliage.

'Earl's Faux' tomato originated with Earl Cadenhead of Ohio.

Sowing Tomato Seeds

Start tomato seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/8" deep. Transplant outside 1-2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 30-36".
