Tomato 'Fred Limbaugh Potato Top'

'Fred Limbaugh Potato Top' may be the most delicious pink tomato I've ever grown, with the possible exception of 'Pink Pioneer'. The dark pink beefsteaks often weigh over a pound, and they are juicy with a slightly smoky, sweet and tangy, well-balanced flavor. You could make a delicious BLT without the bacon!

Saved by Fred Limbaugh of Robinson, PA, who received it from his father and grandfather, this tomato is also known as 'Limbaugh's Legacy Potato Top'. The large plants have healthy potato-leaf foliage.

Sowing Tomato Seeds

Start tomato seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/8" deep. Transplant outside 1-2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 30-36".
