Tomato 'Giant Crimson'

'Giant Crimson' tomato is a very rare heirloom recently brought back from near-extinction by Luke Marion. The 5- to 8-ounce fruits are crimson-red and beautifully formed. They have an old-fashioned tomato flavor that we love. We got our original seed stock from MIgardener.

Sowing Tomato Seeds

Start tomato seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/8" deep. Transplant outside 1-2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 30-36".
