Tomato 'Mexico Midget'

'Mexico Midget' tomato has tiny, 1/2-inch fruits that pack a punch. The flavor is intense and acidic. It's one of the few tomatoes that give me heartburn, but I love it! So do our customers, apparently, since it is one of our best-sellers.

'Mexico Midget' makes an attractive garnish for any dish. We slice it in half to make cherry tomato salsa. This heirloom tomato was brought to the U.S. by a truck driver who said he found it growing wild in Mexico.

Sowing Tomato Seeds

Start tomato seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/8" deep. Transplant outside 1-2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 30-36".
