Tomato 'Orange Icicle'

'Orange Icicle' is a gorgeous paste tomato in a glowing orange color. It is meaty and very productive, making it a great choice for canning and saucing. It is also delicious eaten fresh. The flavor is very sweet with a reasonable amount of tang, tasting somewhat like an orange.

'Orange Icicle' tomato is an open-pollinated variety bred in the Ukraine and introduced by Baker Creek Heirloom seeds as one of a series of paste tomatoes in different colors.

Sowing Tomato Seeds

Start tomato seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/8" deep. Transplant outside 1-2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 30-36".
