Black-Eyed Susan goes well with other perennials and ornamental grasses in the border. It is especially impressive when massed. It makes a great cut flower.
Rudbeckia 'Goldsturm' tolerates a wide range of conditions, including clay or poor soil. It is drought tolerant and deer resistant.
Rudbeckia fulgida 'Goldsturm' was named the Perennial Plant of the Year in 1999. Also known as Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivantii 'Goldsturm Strain' and Golden Coneflower. Hardy in zones 3-9.
