Shasta Daisy is a hardy perennial that blooms from June to August. The white-petalled flowers have yellow centers. Hardy in zones 4-9.

Sowing Shasta Daisy Seeds

Start shasta daisy seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date. Or sow outdoors after the last frost. Barely cover the seeds. Full sun to part shade. 

Shasta Daisy 'Silver Princess' is a compact variety with pure white petals surrounding the soft yellow centers. The dark green foliage makes a perfect backdrop for the flowers. It blooms from June to August, attracting butterflies.

Silver Princess looks great at the front of the border, and it's a good choice for containers. It blooms the first-year from seed.
