Sunflower 'Chocolate Cherry'

Sunflower 'Chocolate Cherry' has 5- to 8-inch, deep burgundy flowers with dark chocolate centers. The well-branched plants produce multiple blooms. It is wonderful at the back of the border and great for cutting.

Plant bushy annuals like rudbeckia, four o'clock, cosmos, and zinnias around the base of tall sunflowers to hide the leggy stems.
