Tomato 'Black Beauty'

'Black Beauty' is the darkest tomato we've ever grown. The medium-sized fruits are red with black shoulders. Some of the fruits are almost completely black. The excellent flavor is tangy with a little earthiness. Unfortunately, it is prone to cracking.

'Black Beauty' tomato was created by Brad Gates, who crossed 'Pink Berkeley Tie-Dye' with 'Indigo Apple'.

Sowing Tomato Seeds

Start tomato seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/8" deep. Transplant outside 1-2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 30-36".
