Five Spot gets its name from the five-petaled, bright white flowers with a purple spot on the outer edge of each petal.
Five Spot has a trailing habit, which makes it nice for containers, rock gardens, or the front of the border. It makes a great bulb cover.
Nemophila maculata prefers average to moist, well-drained soil. It has a short bloom season, petering out when the weather gets hot. Give it part shade in hot summer areas.
