'Iroquois Skunk' is one of the most fascinating green beans I have grown. The flat pods have a velvety texture without strings, and they are delicious steamed. The seeds are beautifully patterned with black and white, and their creamy texture is great for soups. This triple-purpose bean is also good for shelling.

'Iroquois Skunk' pole bean matures relatively early and is fairly productive. This wonderful heirloom comes from the Iroquois tribe of the Great Lakes region. It is shown with Tomato 'Tim's Black Ruffles' and a sweet pea.
