Growing pole beans on a trellis helps to conserve garden space. Pole beans take longer to mature than bush beans, but harvest time is extended. The seeds can be planted in early summer up until the first week of July. Easy to grow.

Sow pole bean seeds outdoors 2 weeks after the last frost date, 1" deep and 3" apart. Provide a trellis. Full sun.
