'Trebona Romano' is a productive, early-maturing pole bean. It has long, flat, stringless pods with a tender texture and traditional flavor. The large, white seeds can be eaten shelled.

This rare bean is an open-pollinated variety from Germany. It grew very well for us in spite of a horrible heat wave that wiped out two other pole beans in our garden.

Sowing Pole Bean Seeds

Sow pole bean seeds outdoors 2 weeks after the last frost date, 1” deep and 3” apart. Provide a trellis. Full sun.

Home-grown seeds.
