70 days, Daucus carota subsp. sativus

$3.25

Uzbek Golden is our favorite carrot for eating raw because it is crisp, juicy, and finely textured. The flavor is sweet and mild, with no bitterness. It is softer than other varieties, making it easier to chew. The medium-short, blunt roots are easy to dig up.

Heirloom from Uzbekistan. See this video for the history.
