Stupice may look like an ordinary red tomato, but it's one of the best early varieties I've ever grown. The 2-ounce, round fruits are deliciously juicy and tangy. They are produced on compact plants until the first frost. The potato-leaf foliage is disease-resistant.

The name is pronounced Stoo-PEECH-ka. Stupice is an heirloom tomato from Czechoslovakia.

Sowing Stupice Tomato Seeds

Start tomato seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/8" deep. Transplant outside 1-2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 30-36".

Home-grown seeds.
