Bean 'Gold Nectar'

'Gold Nectar' is a greenish-yellow wax bean with 9-inch, semi-flat pods. It is quite productive, and the flavor is excellent.

We got our original stock from Adaptive Seeds, who obtained their seeds from a seed swap in Belgium. This is a very rare variety. The plants are slow to dry their seeds, so our supply is limited.

Bean 'Gold Nectar' is shown alongside Tomato 'Early Gem' and Cucumber 'Long Green Improved'.

Sowing Pole Bean Seeds

Sow pole bean seeds outdoors 2 weeks after the last frost date, 1” deep and 3” apart. Provide a trellis. Full sun.
