Bean 'Landreth Stringless'

'Landreth Stringless' is a very tasty and productive bean. The 5-inch pods have good old-fashioned flavor, a meaty texture, and no annoying strings. It's a great choice for freezing and canning. We also love the rich color of the chocolate-brown seeds.

This famous heirloom was introduced by D. Landreth Seed Company in 1885.

Sowing Bush Bean Seeds

Sow bush bean seeds outdoors 2 weeks after the last frost date, 1" deep and 3" apart, in rows spaced 18" apart. Succession sow every 2-3 weeks for a continuous supply of snap beans. Full sun.
